Development for International Teaching Assistants (DITA) Academy
The Center for Teaching Excellence is pleased to announce a brand-new program specifically designed for ITAs - Development of International Teaching Assistants (DITA) Academy. This program provides practical strategies, access to experts as well as peer networks. The goal of the program is help you become more comfortable teaching in the American classrooms, thriving in the American culture, making connections with other ITAs, and identifying resources to assist you in your teaching responsibilities here at OU.
Who Should Attend DITA Academy?
DITA Academy is open to all ITAs, whether you are teaching for the first time, or you are a returning/experienced ITA. International graduate students and post-docs who do not teach this semester but will have teaching responsibilities in the near future are also welcome to attend.
