In coordination with the DHS CW Training staff, the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect provides competency based training for Oklahoma Department of Human Services Child Welfare Specialists and Supervisors.

The link to the right for hotel reservations is only for Supervisors. For anyone other than CW Supervisors, (including, County Directors, Area Directors and State Office Staff) the hotels below have a limited number of rooms available for you. Please call to make your reservation. You will need to pay for your room and apply for reimbursement.

There have been some changes to worker requirements concerning Level I & II trainings with some additional courses being required as well as an extension in time of completion. Workers who have finished their Level II requirements by July 1, 2005 are not required to take the new courses. Workers who have not finished their Level II requirements by July 1, 2005 are required to take the additional courses. Those workers still needing Level II courses now have 36 months from the date of their CORE graduation to complete training.
