This Training will provide specialized instruction on interviewing the perpetrator in child sexual abuse investigations. The course will cover reasons the interview of the perpetrator is so important, understanding denieal, the non-threatening interview, the perpetrator perspective, the aim of the interview, when and where to conduct the interview, interviewing the non-remorseful offencer and case examples. Presenter: james starks, civil and Criminal investigator; Since 1990, Mr. Staarks has conducted training seminars for many agencies including Social services on interview techniques, evidence collectio, and investigative procedures used in general criminal and child sexual abuse investigations.

**PLEASE NOTE: OKDHS is not holding a block of rooms for this training and you will be responsible for your hotel.**
