This Training covers the following topics; Indian Children in the legal system, tribal sovereignty, ICWA nuts and Bolts including basic difinitions, burdens of proof and placement preferences, what is an ICWA case, ICWA motions and procedures, preparation and argueing motions based on fact pattern, Tribes and States working colaboratively, Tribal cultures and Traditions, Tips on what to do, Adoption and Safe Families Act, and current Oklahma ICWA issues and resources.
