Overview

CORE Training: Consists of four weeks classroom training and two weeks of on-the-job training that covers: Foundation Level Knowledge, Skill Competencies and Child Welfare Policy. New Social Workers must attend CORE training no later than six weeks after their hire date.

Before attending CORE:

Participants will need to have FOUR WEEKS in the office and complete the required CORE Enrollment Packet as listed below.
Please refer to the Supervisor Mentor Guide for the most updated information.

After CORE: H.O.T. (Hands on Testing)

Two day Testing following CORE.
Please note this testing if missed, may not be rescheduled.

Workshop Announcement / *Regional* CORE Workshop Announcement
Learning Management System (LMS) *Important* Pre-CORE Reading Assessment test should be completed in one attempt. Logging off during your test will result in locking you out of the LMS system.
Online Testing / Training: Desire2Learn (D2L) Username and Password Information will be sent (emailed) two weeks prior to attending CORE training.
