YOU ARE HERE : HOME / All Workshops / CW 4656 -Working with the New Generation
Description

This workshop will reveal how narcissism (an inflated view of the self) is now more common among both individuals and in the culture. Narcissistic personality traits, the number of people suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and cultural indications of narcissism (e.g., vanity, materialism, entitlement) are all on the rise. Dr. Twenge will detail the four main causes behind the increase in narcissism and will address what can be done to stop the spread of this largely negative trait. She will also discuss the implications of this research to generations working together in organizations.
