YOU ARE HERE : HOME / All Workshops / CW 5206 - Diligent Search Training
Description

Online Training: Diligent Search was developed to help Child Welfare staff locate parents, relatives, and other people relevant to their cases. With the number of children in OKDHS custody continuing to rise, there is an increased need to find appropriate relative or kinship placements for children. Absent or non-custodial parents may be suitable placements for children who have been removed from their custodial parents. The search techniques will progress from low tech to high tech, following the methods outlined in the revised Child Welfare Search Guide.

Participants will Enroll through KIDS and have two weeks from their listed course date to complete their online training. Assigned Username and Passwords will be emailed to the participant on or before the course start date. Credit will be given once the training has been completed.
