In your role as a Child Welfare Specialist, you constantly engage adults in difficult conversations. This class will focus on engagement skills and indirect interviewing methods that are effective in gathering information needed for the assessment of child safety. Interview tools including the innter circle (eco-map) and genogram will also be discussed and demonstrated.

TRAINING GROUP:

This workshop is a miscellaneous workshop mandatory for workers and supervisors who were hired before July 1 , 2008. The class is limited to 30 participants.
