Children in foster care face many challenges. According to the US Government Accountability Office, “as a group, foster children are sicker than homeless children and children living in the poorest sections of inner cities…” This workshop will address barriers in obtaining services, offer information about special health needs and typical conditions of these children, and how to address their needs. Resources and special projects will be discussed.
