Description

Resource Family Training is the name for the 9-session, 27-hour training that combines the 21-hour OK PRIDE curriculum (sessions 1-6, 9) with the 6-hour BCMT workshop which has become sessions 7 & 8. NRCYS must be called before OKPATH (RFO) participants attend make-up sessions.  The sequencing of OKPRIDE is slightly different from OKPATH.  NRCYS will direct the participant in attending the correct session.  Prospective foster and adoptive parents, as well as kinship parents, are enrolled by their worker.  They cannot enroll themselves via the NRC 1/800 number; this number is used for information about make-up classes only. Because of the developmental nature of BCMT, parents attending the BCMT sessions must have session #7 before they can take session #8.  CONTENT IS INAPPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN. FAMILIES BRINGING CHILDREN WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
