Dr. Ryan Bisel

Firm Dr Bisel is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Communication. His research interests focus primarily on supervisor-subordinate communication and organizational culture change. Between 2007 and 2009, Dr. Bisel’s research was honored with four Top Paper Awards, two from the Central States Communication Association and two from the National Communication Association. In addition to four book chapters, Dr. Bisel’s research is published in communication journals such as Communication Theory, Management Communication Quarterly, Journal of Management Education, Western Journal of Communication, and Communication Studies. In addition to his academic experience, Professor Bisel has worked as a process consultant and facilitator for organizations such as Douglas County Visiting Nurses and Hospice, Air Force Public Affairs Center of Excellence, Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, Grace Fellowship, Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security, and Kansas Health Foundation.
