Academic Interests:
Dr. Johnson's areas of interest include interpersonal, relational,
and family communication. She is particularly interested in
studying friendships, stepfamilies, and interpersonal argument.
She is the author or co-author of 17 journal articles and 6 book
chapters in such journals as Communication Monographs, Journal of
Social and Personal Relationships, Journal of Communication,
Personal Relationships, and Journal of Applied Communication
Research.
