Huston Huffman Physical Fitness Center

The Huston Huffman Center is OU’s fitness and recreation facility.  “The Huff” is 150,000 square-feet dedicated to fun & fitness at college.  With a wave of a valid OU I.D., students have access to three state-of-the-art strength training areas, a climbing wall, cardio room, a 1/6-mile indoor track, eight basketball courts, volleyball, badminton, racquetball, and squash. Like team sports?  This is where to sign up for intramurals.  In a separate location, there are also indoor & outdoor swimming pools, with various sports and classes, and an awesome variety of group fitness classes from yoga to kick-boxing.  Cool down after your workout with fresh fruit or a smoothie from Freshens, while you check out the available nutritional support, massage therapy and health screenings.

This center opened in 1981 and is named for OU Regent Huston Huffman for his dedication to the welfare of Sooner Students.
