The procedure for selecting a specialty practicum
site is as follows:
• Consult with Dr. Stoltenberg about the process and
options and when you intend to enroll.
• Review the list of sites (on following pages) and
confer with faculty and other students about them and/or additional
options.
• Get a copy of the necessary forms (contract) to
be completed by you and the site and have them completed.
• Work up a Memo of Understanding between you and
the site so that it is clear what the expectations are of
all involved. Have the memo sent to Dr. Stoltenberg.
• Enroll in the appropriate practicum class (Practicum
III, EDPY 6913.003).
The only exception to this format is if you do your specialty
practicum at the Assessment Clinic. Still inform Dr. Stoltenberg
of this decision, but then enroll in EDPY 6913.004).
