Persons in this role function as Psychology Clinic staff
members. Under the supervision of the Director of Training
and the Clinic Administrator, Clinic Supervisors assist with
the day to day operation of the clinic as well as with the
supervision of master’s level students. Specific duties
and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Organizing the orientation to the clinic for students
enrolled in practicum courses
• Helping to assign clients to student counselors
• Providing crisis intervention services
• Providing consultation to other students regarding
client services, crisis management, ethical issues, and clinic
policy
• Assisting with supervision and management of the
assessment clinic, group services, and other specialty services
• Assisting in the assignment of grades for master’s
students and providing information concerning appropriate
internships for master’s students
• Attending clinic staff meetings and participating
in the administration of the clinic
• Maintaining records and forms used in the clinic
