PROGRAM
AREAS
There
are three graduate program areas within the Department of Educational
Leadership and Policy Studies: Adult and Higher Education (EDAH);
Educational Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision (EACS);
and Educational, Historical, Philosophical, and Social Foundations
(EDFN). Each program has its separate admissions process, course
offerings, and faculty. Information about each program area can
be obtained by clicking the links on the left or by contacting the
program area coordinators.

EACS Program is currently searching for individuals to fill

Adult
and Higher Education (EDAH)
This program is focused on learning, instructional, curricular,
administrative, and organizational issues related to postsecondary
and adult education (colleges and universities and business and
industry). Areas of emphasis include higher education administration,
student personnel administration, institutional research, intercollegiate
athletic administration, distance education, training and development,
and adult and continuing education. The EDAH's program area coordinator
is Dr. David Tan.
Educational
Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision (EACS)
This program is primarily concerned with administrative, curricular,
and supervision issues in common education. The primary goals of
the program are to prepare educators and administrators for leadership
roles in educational institutions and to produce, disseminate and
consume research that informs leadership practices. The EACS's program
area coordinator is Dr. Mary John O'Hair.
Educational, Historical, Philosophical,
and Social Foundations (EDFN)
This program provides a comprehensive understanding of the historical,
philosophical and sociological foundations of education, which is
intended to enhance the professionalism of educators and other persons
involved in social service work. The EDFN's program area coordinator
is Dr. Grayson Noley.
