CEDAR SERVICES

This semester we added several new services designed to lighten some of the burden of research and to increase your productivity. We are excited about helping with your quantitative and qualitative research and are ready to help with anything from collecting data to designing a web page. To request our services, you may email CEDAR at CEDAR@OU.edu or stop by our office anytime. Our ability to help is dependent the availability of our resources and not all services are available to graduate students, but we will always try our best to meet your needs. Please review the list of our services. If these do not meet your needs, let’s talk about it! We will expand our services or try and find someone else who can meet your needs.

Data Services- Our graduate students can help you collect, interpret analyze, manipulate and format data. We also use undergraduate students to help with data input and transcriptions. Please review our transcription policy. Click here for Policy.

Facilities- Our space is available for research meetings or if you just need a place to spread out your work.

Funding Searches- Using your criteria and research interest, we will search for possible funding sources and opportunities using both government and foundation databases. We also promote opportunities that we become aware of through emails and on our bulletin board.
Literature Review- Let us help you search and gather your literature review sources.

Proposal and Manuscript Review Panel- A faculty and graduate student panel will review your document and provide constructive criticism prior to your final submission.

Research Design- Our staff is trained in research methods. Whether you need help with research ideas, developing methods or just figuring out your research assignments we can help with the simplest to the most complex research projects.

Software Services- Workshops and individual training services are available for a variety of software tools including NVivo, SPSS, Dream Weaver, Office Products and Page Maker etc.

Survey Design- To be effective in research, your tools must be valid and reliable. We can help you design your paper based or online survey to ensure that your data is both appropriate and meaningful.

Web Development- Our experts can help design and create your web page or train you to make your own.

Other Services As Needed- We can help in many other ways, just let us know your needs. On-line surveys and proposal writing are just some of the services we are hoping to develop in the near future.
