Additional
Information for Prospective Doctoral Students
A
prospective student interested in the Instructional Leadership concentration
should meet with the ILAC Graduate Liaison to discuss whether the studentŐs
goals are compatible with the concentration. At this time the Graduate Liaison will suggest that the
applicant meet individually with faculty members whose interest and expertise
are similar to the studentŐs goals.
The student should feel comfortable meeting with several faculty members
without either having to make a commitment. In addition, prospective students should indicate in their
goals statement possible faculty in the department with whom the student would
want to work. Subsequently an
interview with the program faculty to discuss the application and to describe
the general structure of the program is required prior to admission into the
program.
