I teach undergraduate social and cultural foundations of education, and graduate classes in philosophy and sociology of education. My main area of interest is moral formation, and the ways in which our communities of membership shape us morally. In addition, I am interested in the ways in which religion and politics intersect, both of them serving as agencies of public education, especially how they help form the conscience of the public.
