Siduri Haslerig is an Assistant Professor of Adult and Higher Education in the emphasis area of Intercollegiate Athletics Administration at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Haslerig earned her doctorate in the Higher Education and Organizational Change program at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her dissertation explored the phenomenon of Graduate and Graduated Student Athletes, focusing on participants’ motivations to pursue post-baccalaureate coursework, their college experiences, and their meaning making processes. Dr. Haslerig's larger research agenda nests the study of intercollegiate athletics and college athletes within higher education. Of particular interest are diversity, access, and inclusion; student athletes’ academic achievement; developmental and support services in intercollegiate athletics; and qualitative research methods. In her spare time, Dr. Haslerig fosters Pit Bulls and volunteers with rescue organizations.
