Lightning Storms Possible Later Today

Friday, May 24, 2019 - University Meteorologist, Dr. Kevin Kloesel

Warm, humid and gusty conditions will continue with the ever-present daily chance of scattered lightning storms. Storms chances increase this evening with the possibility of scattered strong lightning storms. Then, after midnight, another round of storms with gusty winds and heavy downpours will be possible. Lightning storm chances will remain in the forecast right into the weekend. Always be weather aware!
