Professional Experience

Glenn Kuriger has served as a Research Associate with the Wireless EMC Center since September 1998. He is in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of the Center and the research projects. He also handles the industry inquiries that come into the Center. He also maintains the Centers inventory database.

Glenn originally joined the EMC Center in May of 1995 as a Graduate Research Assistant. His longevity at the Center is currently exceeded only by the EMC Center Director, Hank Grant, and Director of Research, Bob Schlegel. As Senior Research Assistant, Glenn participated in both phases of the pacemaker study, in the Phase II-C Hearing Aid Waveguide study, and in the phone power measurement study. In addition, Glenn was in charge of the EMC Centers investigation of the compatibility between wireless phones and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs). Glenn was influential in the development and documentation of the ICD test protocol, and can be credited with the development and maintenance of the Centers pacemaker and ICD databases.
