Academic Qualifications
Professional ExperienceGlenn Kuriger has served as a Research Associate with the Wireless EMC Center since September 1998. He is in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of the Center and the research projects. He also handles the industry inquiries that come into the Center. He also maintains the Centers inventory database.Glenn originally joined the EMC Center in May of 1995 as a Graduate
Research Assistant. His longevity at the Center is currently exceeded
only by the EMC Center Director, Hank Grant, and Director of Research,
Bob Schlegel. As Senior Research Assistant, Glenn participated in both
phases of the pacemaker study, in the Phase II-C Hearing Aid Waveguide
study, and in the phone power measurement study. In addition, Glenn was
in charge of the EMC Centers investigation of the compatibility between
wireless phones and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs). Glenn
was influential in the development and documentation of the ICD test
protocol, and can be credited with the development and maintenance of the
Centers pacemaker and ICD databases.

Outside InterestsOutside of his work at the Center, Glenn is an accomplished vocalist, and serves as the Director of Music and Choir at his church. He has been selected for leading roles in several operas and operettas. His main interests include singing, church, and playing soccer and basketball.
