Language or Cultural Discovery: Some Places to Start Looking for a Topic
1.  When do you first remember writing?  Describe the event in detail.
2.  When did you write in elementary school?  What did you write?  Who were your audiences (teacher, classmates, etc.)?  What were your purposes?
3.  When did you write in junior high?  What did you write?  Who were your audiences?  What were your purposes?
