Personal Training FAQ

How do I sign up for personal training?

To sign-up, please come to the Sarkeys Fitness Center front desk and ask for the “New Personal Training Client Request Form”. You’ll complete the intake packet and return those to the front desk. We will also collect payment for your first session ($30.00 + tax) at this time. A Pro-Staff member will be in touch within 48 hours of receipt of your paperwork to outline next steps.

Do I need a membership?

No, a membership to Sarkeys Fitness Center is not required to utilize our personal training program. However, an individual must still be eligible for membership to have access to trainers. Please review our membership guidelines for more information.

What should I expect on the first day?

Your first training appointment will consist of a “Fitness Assessment”.

Where can I park?

If you have a current OU Parking Permit, you may park in either the Jenkins Parking Garage, located to the East of our building, or in the multipurpose parking lot to our South. If you do not have a current OU Paring Permit, there are metered spots along the South wall of the building.

How do I know which trainer is right for me?

Our trainers are introduced here. Please review their bios to determine if one best matches your own philosophy and goals.

How do I purchase personal training?

Single or multiple sessions can be purchased in-person at the Sarkeys Fitness Center front desk. We accept cash, check and credit cards.

How much do the sessions cost?


Do we offer refunds?

Refunds can be requested through the Sarkeys Fitness Center front desk. You’ll be asked to complete a refund request form and returns are typically able to be processed within 30 days.

Do you have group training rates and what does that include?

Groups of 3, 4, or 5

How does scheduling and communication with personal trainer work?

Once we have established your trainer your contact information will be shared with the trainer who will then connect with you directly to coordinate schedules.
