Michael D. Fain is an associate professor of technical theatre and design.  He also serves as the technical director/production manager for the three School of Drama venues as well as a scenic designer for University Theatre.  As technical director Michael has supervised 75+ productions in 8 years at OU and over 100 in various locales.  Michael has designed numerous productions for University Theatre as well as New Mexico Highlands University, College of Santa Fe, Southwest Repertory Theatre, Santa Fe Performing Arts Company, Musical Theatre of Santa Fe, and the Production Factory.  2003 was Michael's 30th anniversary as a theatre educator, designer, and technician.  He is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and Arizona State University, a journeyman with IATSE local 112
