Winter Piano Camp

The OU piano area invites high school pianists to join us on Saturday, January 20 for the 2024 Winter Piano Camp. The camp is open to upper-intermediate through advanced high school pianists who have studied piano for at least four years. Student participants will receive a private lesson from a piano faculty member and attend a faculty recital, a duet sight-reading workshop, a keyboard literature session, and a studio class featuring OU undergraduate and graduate performers. Lunch will be provided for all participants.

Students will have the opportunity to perform in a showcase recital at the conclusion of the camp day. This performance will begin at 2:45 pm, Sharp Hall, and family and friends are invited to attend. To be considered for this opportunity, please submit a Youtube video recording of a piece from the standard repertoire to Igor Lipinski, ilipinski@ou.edu, by January 6, 2024. Selected participants will be notified via email with additional information one week prior to the camp. Note: only students who wish to be considered for the showcase recital need to submit a video recording.
