Welcome to the Weitzenhoffer Department of Musical Theatre at the University of Oklahoma.
We are looking for great talent...talent that wants to become part of a world-class musical theatre degree program. This year we will offer twelve students an opportunity to join our Musical Theatre family. We are seeking a select group of multi-talented performers with the passion and character to grow their talents far beyond their highest expectations. Through hard work, professional instruction and multiple performance opportunities, we want to help you live your dream.
Our unique degree program offers a select group of talented students professional training in singing, acting, and dance integrated with specialized classes in musical theatre. We offer a conservatory atmosphere within a dynamic and exciting liberal arts university. Our true Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance degree is built on a solid foundation of professional performing arts curriculum and core general education classes.
Our self-imposed enrollment cap of 50 undergraduates insures personal attention, individual coaching and professional development. Admission to the department is based on acceptance to the University of Oklahoma and successfully completing a required On-Campus Admission Audition.
