Graduate Tuition Waivers
The Graduate College grants 9 credits of out-of-state and 7 credits of resident tuition waivers to any graduate assistant holding a .50 FTE appointment. Students who qualify for these waivers during the fall and spring terms are also eligible for waivers of 4 hours of non-resident tuition during the summer term. If students have a summer GA appointment, they do not have to enroll in courses unless required by their degree program or immigration. Students are responsible for all fees associated with their study.
After students have been formally admitted to the university and their appointment papers have been processed, the Graduate Liaison will submit their names to the Graduate College for processing of the fee waiver. The fee waiver should be credited to the student's first bursar's bill.
