MFA Design assignments

Students in the MFA Design program can expect to have a minimum of one major design assignment each year. The assignments are made by the Design/Tech faculty in conjunction with the Director of the SOD.  Efforts are made to assure a variety of experiences in the program to provide the broadest possible training for the student's focus in scene, lighting or costume design. Determination of the specific assignments involves informal interviews and portfolio review each year in the three-year sequence.
