MFA Directing – Second and Third-Year Productions
After passing their qualifier, MFA directing students must direct two more productions as part of their curricular requirements. These may be in the Mainstage or Studio seasons. The choice of the production is based on the performance faculty's assessment of the student's areas of needed improvement, as well as the production's suitability to the overall University Theatre Season. Students may direct more than the three required productions, either in the studio season, summer season or in an alternate venue to be approved by the performance faculty.
