Ensemble Participation Requirement

All undergraduate students majoring in music are required to participate in one or more of the following ensembles: OU Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Marching Band, Symphony Band, Concert Band, University Choir, University Chorale or University Chorus.  One credit hour per semester in each ensemble may be earned for satisfactory participation in a performing ensemble.  Each degree plan has different ensemble hour requirements.  Please check degree sheets for specific requirements.

Students receiving music scholarships should also review the ensemble participation requirement of their scholarship agreement.
