Faculty Ensembles in Residence

Oklahoma Brass Quintet– The Oklahoma Brass Quintet has been in existence at the University of Oklahoma for twenty-seven years. The Quintet has performed for major music conventions in Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, and Missouri and continues to be a major part of the musical life at the University and State of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Woodwind Quintet– The Oklahoma Woodwind Quintet has performed nationally and regionally at conventions and in many other locations including Carnegie Hall. Within the past ten years the ensemble has commissioned many new works for woodwind quintet, including one by the American composer Robert Muczynski. The Quintet has produced a compact disc recording that is currently commercially available.
