General Petition Process:
The general petition form may be used for many issues including:
Extension of Incomplete grade
Waiver of the residency policy
Waiver of the ten-year limitation policy
- Student submits the petition to the School of their major
- The petition is approved or denied by the School
- The petition is forwarded to the Coordinator of Undergraduate Programs in the Dean’s Office for either the Dean’s approval or approval of the Fine Arts Council, depending on the circumstances
- The Dean’s Office will notify the student of the decision and appropriate action to be taken by the student
