Claude Renoir (1901-1969), nicknamed "Coco," was the youngest son of the artist. Coco’s brother Jean, who became a famous film director, recalled that after Coco was born, he replaced Jean as their father’s favorite model.

This is a study for a portrait of Claude Renoir Drawing, now in a private collection in New York.
