This winter, the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art will inaugurate FredFilms, in which certain themes will be explored over the course of a semester through weekly films screened Thursday nights in the Mary Eddy and Fred Jones Auditorium on the museum's lower level.  All screenings begin at 7 p.m. and are intended for mature audiences.  Beginning January 26, 2006 - French Connections: American Film Noir and French Cinema.

The museum hosts lectures and other events, which relate to the collection and the exhibition schedule. Recent guests include art historians Dr. Richard Brettell and Dr. Creighton Gilbert.
