Paintings and Drawings by John Freed

February 3 — 27

This exhibition is comprised of recent work executed in the fulfillment of thesis requirements for the degree, Master of Fine Arts, at the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Freed, who has just returned from two years in Paris as a Fulbright grant winner, was previously known as a promising young Oklahoma artist. While abroad, and since his return, he has quickly gained stature through critical acclaim of shows in Paris and New York. First prize for painting in the recent annual show of the Association of Oklahoma Artists is only the latest of many honors.
