Wall Paintings of Horyuji

This exhibition is from a portfolio of photographic reproductions of the wall paintings in the Japanese temple of Horyuji. The portfolio was presented to this university by the Japanese University Accreditation Association and is an excellent addition to the collection of the Museum of Art. The wall paintings were executed in 600 A.D. and are representative of the highest of Japan’s fine arts. The reproductions are in color.
