William Harold Smith and Roger Corsaw
February 1 – 25
These two artists, both members of the faculty of the School of Arts, University of Oklahoma, will exhibit their recent works in ceramics, ceramic sculptures and mosaic panels. Mr. Corsaw will exhibit a group of ceramic pieces which, though utilitarian, have become creative works of high artistic value as a result of the artist’s understanding of form and material.
Opening concurrently is an exhibition of Original Graphics for Young Collectors. Ranging from the traditional to modern, these prints will afford and important survey of the work by outstanding artists in this field. All prints are for sale and present an opportunity for the museum patron to collect works by internationally renowned artists. Eighty prints varying in price form four to fifty dollars by such artists as Corot, Degas, Dufy, Lautrec, Picasso, and Rouault will be on display.
