The New Landscape in Art and Science

December 3-20

The exhibition presents the parallels between science and art. Visual analogies are drawn between juxtaposed works of art and microscopic-macroscopic views of nature from scientific sources. Seventy-five photographs were selected by Gyorgy Kepes, Professor of  Visual Design at M.I.T.  Twenty-five works in various media by such artists as Albers, Bertoia, Ferren, Hofmann, Kandinsky, Klee, Moholy-Nagy, Pereira and Tobey were selected by Harris K. Prior, Director of the American Federation of Arts.
