William Stitt—Paintings and Drawings

A former student in the School of Art, University of Oklahoma, Stitt now works at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Twenty-seven subjects based on the history of science were selected from a series done fro a film produced by the University of Oklahoma Motion Picture Division for the National Science Teachers Association. Paintings of Copernicus, Vesalius, Galileo, Newton, Harvey, Einstein and Bohr are included.
