Dale Chihuly - A Decade of Glass
January 31 – March 8
This exhibition of forty glass sculptures was organized by the Beleuve Art Museum of Bellevue, Washington. Chilhuly, a leading figure in studio glass since the 1970’s, has used glass as his principal sculpture medium since the mid-sixties. In 1968, he became the first American to receive a Fulbright Fellowship to study glass blowing in Venice, Italy. The exhibition will survey his work from 1974 to 1984 and include a number of pieces created especially for the exhibition.
