Forty-four hand-printed silkscreens produced in 1969 by one of America’s most influential artists, Currents was originally exhibited by Castelli Graphics in New York and the Pasadena Art Museum, California. 26 prints, "Features" from Currents, was a gift to the Museum of Art in 1980 by Mr. and Mrs. Harold J. Newman, Greenwich, Conn. The donors augmented the present exhibition by a loan of 18 additional silkscreens from Currents, the Surface Series.
