James Surls—Visions 1974-1984

This exhibition is the first large-scale survey of prominent Texas sculptor James Surls. Embodying his personal fantasy and physical energy, forty-seven sculptures and nineteen drawings chronicle Surls development over the past ten years.
This exhibition was organized by the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibition in Norman has been made possible by the Fred Jones Jr. Memorial Endowment Fund.
