The artist, and active West Coast photographer, received his B.A. at the University of Iowa in 1966 and his M.F.A. at UCLA in 1976. His company, Landweber/Artist, had produced several limited edition portfolios of the work of well-known photographers. Landweber’s work has been exhibited by Eastman House, the New Museum and the International Center of Photography, New York and other museums and galleries. His work is in the permanent collections of the Fogg Museum, Harvard, the Corcoran Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
