CINEMATOGRAPHER TO VISIT OU
Those interested in filmmaking are invited to attend a free, public workshop to be presented Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the University of Oklahoma by Barry Braverman, a veteran cinematographer and digital media expert with more than 30 years of experience in television documentaries and feature films.
The workshop is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. in Studio D, Room 1140, Gaylord Hall, 395 W. Lindsey St. It is sponsored by Panasonic.
Braverman will be accompanied by Panasonic’s educational manager, Domenic Cicchetti. Co-sponsors for the event include the College of Arts and Sciences Film and Video Studies Program and English Department, along with the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Braverman’s credits include work for National Geographic, ABC News, HBO, and the Discovery and History channels. Recent film titles include A One Track Mind: The Darjeeling Limited Behind the Scenes, Making of Bottle Rocket and Café Lebowitz.
