News & Announcements
- Dr. Faye Ginsberg will lecture on Indigenous media at 7 p.m. on March 11 in the Kerr Auditorium at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History. She will also visit several FVS classes.
Film scholar Elaine Bapis will present a lecture, "American Cinema as a Force for Social Change, 1965-75," at 12 p.m. on April 1, in Old Science Hall, Room 324, followed by a book signing.
Screenwriting workshop with Lew Hunter, award-winning screenwriter, author and former Chair of the UCLA Screenwriting graduate program, scheduled for Saturday, April 17, from 9:30 to 12:45 in Gaylord College, Room 2030 . Seating is limited. Please contact FVS at 325-3020 to reserve a spot. The workshop will be preceded by a screening and discussion of one of Hunter's TV features, Fallen Angel (1981) on Friday, April 16 in the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation Auditorium in the Gaylord College building at 7p.m.
There will be a memorial celebration for Ned Hockman on Saturday, April 24 at 3 p.m. in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication Audiorium.
