At least 6 credit hours must be earned in courses acceptable for residence credit by standards set forth by the College of Arts and Sciences, excluding transfer, correspondence and examination (AP, CLEP, Advanced Standing) credit. Courses for the minor may not be taken Pass/No Pass.
Students must successfully complete at least 18 hours of courses acceptable for major credit in Film and Video Studies, including at least 9 hours at the upper-division level. The following specific requirements must be met:
FVS 1013 Introduction to Film and Video Studies
FVS 2013 Film History to 1945 or
FVS 2023 Film History from 1945
Also 12 additional hours (4 courses) from courses approved for FVS major credit.
