Katerina Tsetsura is an assistant professor in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Her research interests include the development of PR theory and practice in countries with transitional economies, international PR ethics, social construction of identity, issues management, public diplomacy, and international and intercultural communication.
Tsetsura is the author or co-author of five book chapters. She is also one of the two leading researchers of the landmark project “The international index of bribery in the media,” supported by the Institute for Public Relations (USA), the International Public Relations Association and the International Press Institute. Recently, Tsetsura guest lectured at the American University of Sharjah, UAE and presented her research at the IPRA annual conference in Dubai, U.A.E. and the Journalistic Conference at Warsaw University in Warsaw, Poland. Tsetsura has also worked as a journalist, advertiser and a PR manager in Russia and the USA for several years. She is a member of IPRA, PRSA, ICA, NCA, CSCA and OSCLG.
