Emily Westbrooks

Westbrooks is a public relations senior from Paris, Texas. She currently works as a campus tour guide for OU’s Prospective Student Services and has previously been a staff member at Student Media’s features department and The Wire radio station. Her internship experience includes public relations work with Travelers Aid and Homeless Assistance Center of Oklahoma City and the Impact Young Lives Foundation.

Westbrooks is actively involved with Campus Activities Council and currently serves on General Council as Howdy Week Chair. She is also involved in Camp Crimson and the Student Alumni Association and is currently the vice president of Sigma Phi Lambda sorority. She is a President’s Achievement Class alumna and winner of the Outstanding Sophomore and Outstanding Junior awards.

After graduation, Westbrooks hopes to pursue graduate studies in strategic communication and public health before beginning a career in the healthcare industry.
