Kolt Atchley

Kolt is a sophomore from Arlington, Texas, majoring in journalism and minoring in film and video studies. Atchley works behind the scenes of the live student newscast, OU Nightly. He has also been seen on screen as a featured host on the music show, The Set, as well as, a field host for the human-interest show, Something New(s).

Atchley is a member of the National Broadcasting Society, where he served on the committee for the first OU broadcasting conference in March 2007. Atchley is on the Dean’s list for Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication.

He holds big plans for his future, hoping to make it as a game show and a morning talk show host, like Regis Philbin.
