Lauren Parajon

Parajon is a journalism senior from Keller, Texas, who dreams of becoming a magazine editor. She spent the summer of 2007 in New York City interning for Every Day with Rachael Rayand the summer before that in St. Louis, Mo., interning at the Sporting Newsmagazine. This fall she is taking classes while interning at the Oklahoma Gazette. At OU she has served as Editor-in-Chief of Sower, OU’s magazine for incoming freshmen, the 2006 Gift Guide and OU’s commencement magazine, Past, Present and Sooner.

With a 4.0 journalism GPA, she served as the Managing Editor of both Sooner yearbook and Crimson Traditions, OU’s freshman yearbook. She has also written for The Oklahoma Daily, The University of Oklahoma Visitor Guide and the Apartment & Home Guide.
